Getting rid of the pacifier

Your goal is to have your baby sleep on the ground to suck a pacifier for four months old.

If after four months, the baby is sleeping on a pacifier, it is possible to get rid of this habit is slowly or suddenly. How you do this will depend on:

1. Your child's personality
2. How much depends on him
3. What can be treated
4. Their environmental situation.

Slow return:

1. It is used to pay for the pacifier to sleep, as usual
2.Watch carefully and slowly remove the pacifier when the baby sucks its slow and sleep
3. Put it back when you start to search and access in order for them
4. Take it out again as his sucking slows
5. Put it back when you begin to see again, because you can do in and out of the process five or six times, but it will reduce slowly as they are used to settle to sleep without it
6. Be persistent and consistent.

Fast Payments:

1. Before you take yourPacifier away, make sure that they introduced at the same time as another stuffed animal to the pacifier. Use both to guarantee a couple of weeks before you take the pacifier away
2. When it's time for them is free from the pacifier, do the same bedtime routine that is used, but only so cuddly, not the pacifier
3. Follow a strategy of retreat for the age group of children. This could mean, you can cry for a few minutes and return to calmwith a hug or a pat
4. Hold for one hour only then cuddling in their sleep
5. Give it a couple of days to work on consistency and look no further help if they are not settling.

If you are a small child, even with a pacifier, there are some other techniques you can try. Choose the one which you think would work best for your child:

1. Take them to a shop or zoo and use the pacifier as a currency (in cash, plus of course) in exchange for a special toy
2. Oncan Christmas or Easter Bunny or Santa Claus to swap for something special
3. Rub a bit 'of Tabasco sauce or garlic (or similar) on the dummy's head
4. If the child is based on a pacifier day and night to take for the day when I use it for a couple of weeks and divert to other activities before the night
5. Always be encouraging that I'm a big boy or girl and is no longer necessary
6. Help more fun activities thatthe uncertainty of habit, and associations are gone. For a child, this could take several weeks and spent time on you.

Be strong, you can do and your child or family allowances.
